Description

Objective: The Aero Medical First Aid Training (AMF-VCP) provides crew members with the knowledge and skills to effectively manage medical emergencies in an aircraft environment. The training emphasizes recognizing and responding to various medical conditions such as heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, and other common medical issues. It also focuses on self-protection, injury management, and the use of first aid equipment. By the end of the course, participants will be prepared to provide first aid and handle onboard medical emergencies confidently. Syllabus Overview: 1.) First Aid General (FAG): 2.) Rescue Chain: Description and communication pathways. 3.) Self-Protection: Handling infections, chemicals, and mechanical risks. 4.) Medical Conditions: Recognizing and managing heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, asthma, hyperventilation, and epilepsy. 5.) Injuries: Addressing head injuries, burns, and wound care. 6.) Psychological Support: Providing mental support to passengers. 7.) Practical Measures: Hands-on training in CPR, stopping bleeding, wound care, and using first aid kits. 8.) Aero Medical Topics (AMT): - Oxygen Deficiency: Recognizing signs and using oxygen systems in aircraft. - CO2 & CO Poisoning: Causes, signs, and actions. - Contamination: Managing exposure to substances like fuel or hydraulic fluids. - Hygiene and Food Poisoning: Identifying symptoms and responding appropriately. - Malaria: Recognizing and responding to symptoms. Completion: Certificate: Issued upon completion Competence: No formal assessment required


Cancellation Policy

Course Booking: Booking Procedure: Customers can book virtual and frontal classroom courses through our website, by phone, or in person at our office. All bookings are subject to availability. Confirmation: Upon successful booking, customers will receive a confirmation email or notification containing details of the course, including the date, time, location (if applicable), and any additional instructions. Cancellation Policy: Cancellation Period: Customers may cancel their booking up to 7 calendar days in advance of the scheduled course date without incurring any cancellation fees. Cancellation Procedure: To cancel a booking, customers must notify Skylift Aviation GmbH's customer service team at least 7 calendar days before the course date. Cancellation requests can be made via phone or email. Refund Policy: If a booking is canceled within the specified cancellation period, customers will be entitled to a full refund of any fees paid for the course. Refunds will be processed within [number of days] days using the original payment method. Late Cancellations: Late Cancellation: Cancellations made less than 7 calendar days before the scheduled course date will be considered late cancellations. Late Cancellation Fee: Customers who cancel their booking within the late cancellation period may be subject to a cancellation fee. The amount of the fee will be determined based on the specific circumstances of the cancellation. Rescheduling: Rescheduling Procedure: Customers may request to reschedule their booking to a different date or time, subject to availability. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 calendar days before the original course date. Rescheduling Fee: Skylift Aviation GmbH reserves the right to charge a rescheduling fee for any changes made to a booking. The amount of the fee will be communicated to the customer at the time of the rescheduling request. No-Shows: No-Show Policy: Failure to attend a booked course without prior cancellation or notification will be considered a no-show. No-Show Penalty: Customers who fail to attend a booked course without canceling in advance may be subject to forfeiture of any fees paid for the course. Policy Changes: Skylift Aviation GmbH reserves the right to update or modify this Booking Policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
